Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

The installer will be back next week – I’ll discuss it with him again. What you’re saying makes sense. And actually, as I mentioned, the two-way valve was also planned for the tub. That had already made me suspicious.

Glass with or without a handrail is quite a matter. I haven’t installed ours yet and am still undecided. I also prefer it without, and since our glass is illuminated, the effect without a handrail looks better. However, you can see a lot more fingerprints, which would probably be much less with a handrail, as people tend to let their hand glide over it.

If you want, I can send you a picture tonight, possibly with a functional video, as a private message.

We have a thin strip on top, but I inspected the glass before installation, and there were definitely no bubbles.

@ climbee: I will try to contact the company tomorrow, but as I have already mentioned elsewhere, file a complaint!

To those of you with glass railings without bubbles: do you have handrails, or is it just "topless"?

Because the bubbles we have now would actually disappear under a supposedly required handrail.

I have never seen glass railings without a handrail or something similar. We have about 10 meters (33 feet) of glass in the house, and nowhere is any sign of bubbles in the film visible.
