Just had another discussion with the plumber: with only one outlet, you can either have water from above or from the handheld shower – now I can activate both at the same time by pressing both buttons. And that’s exactly what we wanted, so the handheld shower works even when water is flowing from above.
The water volume and drainage have been designed accordingly.
Yes, these are minor details – but nerves are wearing thin. Especially since the electrician looked at my husband wide-eyed today and said he has four weeks left until we move in. No, we agreed on the handover of the keys with the current tenants on July 27th. At first, we were told it would be finished by mid to late June – now it’s getting tight and I actually wanted to avoid exactly that. The electrician was quite surprised – he’ll have to work hard now.
Well, now the essential things that are necessary for daily living just have to be finished. As of today, the photovoltaic system is connected and we have our own electricity. Now the water situation has to work out, then at least we’ll have a functioning toilet and lighting (without relying on the temporary power supplied by my mother, which we have been using so far).
It’s frustrating because we had planned a four-week transition period to move our cats only once everything is basically complete. Managing five (and probably deeply offended) outdoor cats in a new, unfamiliar house while various tradespeople constantly come and go will be quite a challenge...
On Monday, the glazier will come again regarding the mirrors we ordered from him; we will discuss everything then. I also think he has a bad supplier, but that’s not our problem.

that’s not correct, sorry, the installer is telling you stories.
Actually, it makes sense. Take a look at the water flow/connection of the I-Box, then you’ll see that he’s not telling the truth.

borderpuschl9 Jul 2019 13:08The installation is actually correct, but as I mentioned, there is one valve too many (specifically the one at the thermostat for the upper part).
If it doesn’t bother you, just leave it as is and ignore my comments. It’s not a big deal.
I just wanted to make you aware because it would bother me if I always had to press two buttons to get water from above.
