That looks really nice. Are there more pictures of the house? I really like the brickwork. Why is the front door shown as red in one picture and anthracite in another? The photos were taken away from the house. You can only see our lawn. Our house has been shown elsewhere before (white plastered). The houses visible in the background, even separated by a street, belong to other people. You might have guessed that 😉

WilderSueden26 Jul 2022 19:11We’re finally making progress. The windows have arrived, and the house already looks much less like a shell 😉

However, one bedroom’s windows have to stay off for now. Meanwhile, a few birds have built a nest in the ventilation opening and have chicks...

Conveniently, the electrician also had time during the week before the company shutdown to do the rough wiring. Things are moving forward now.

And here’s a view over the entire new development area.

Some plots are shaped rather awkwardly, especially the two triangular ones on the island, which I find very unfortunate, as well as the one in our northeast area. The rest are actually okay. Here is an excerpt from the site plan.
What surprises me most is that it seems they wanted to simulate the “disorder” of old village centers. With the road layout, it naturally results in houses being positioned in all different directions at the end. You can clearly see this happening in the photo. It’s not necessarily a problem, but they could have made it easier for the builders.
