Bigger does not necessarily mean better or more attractive. However, it also depends a lot on the spatial context.

Tastes vary! I think they look really great. However, I would never install dark tiles again since I clean the floor almost every day.

What alternative seamless flooring do you suggest instead of tiles for living areas?

I wouldn’t want to do without my large-format tiles. However, unlike @tomtom79, we chose light gray to avoid the daily mopping hassle! In our old apartment, we had dark tiles, and my wife immediately said that the new build would have to be in light gray.
