@Baufie That’s just the elephant, it’s always like that.I know, really terrible...
In our previous house, we had glossy black tiles on the floor and halfway up the walls, then a pretty gold border followed by white. *Bucket
So 80s, even though the house was built in the late 90s.
Anyway, really annoying – every speck of dust was visible, every hair, every trace of whatever.

Hello,
The tile is indeed 1.2 x 1.2 meters (4 x 4 feet) in size. Manufacturer: Mirage Glocal 04.
For cleaning, only water is recommended. I’m curious how often my wife will curse because of dust and so on. With our controlled mechanical ventilation system, we hope to have “less” dust buildup. We will see.
@elefant: basically, you are right. Among other things, we care about having as few grout lines as possible in the house.
In our old house, we had a 90 m² (970 sq ft) living room with a cotto floor. The grout joints there were up to 1.5 cm (0.6 inches) wide. Now everything is more modern...
I cannot publicly post prices for the installation. There are cheaper options, but in our region, there are not many better installers!

Is it really true that the darker the tile, the more you can see (water) stains? The higher the lime content in the water, the more stains you will notice. Dark tiles do not show stains any faster than light-colored ones. Of course, you can also soften the water to prevent this.vx220 schrieb:
