Personally, I have installed tiles in apartments where only half of the wall was tiled. You could immediately see scratches, dirt, or something similar on the untiled walls, and overall it looked unfinished to me.

It’s all a matter of personal taste.
To me, it looks like you’re about to slaughter a cow there. You could just steam clean it on a large scale with a pressure washer.
Okay, that was a bit exaggerated. But definitely over the top [emoji12] I’ve never seen a slaughterhouse with somewhat larger tiles. [emoji202][emoji243][emoji233][emoji230]For example, I don’t like half-tiled bathrooms. If it were up to me, even the guest bathroom would be fully tiled. Here, the transition from ceiling height to 1.5m (5 feet) already annoys me.
And if I’m going to choose many concrete tiles, at least I could stand out from the crowd with full-height tiling.
But you’re right, because of the fully tiled walls, the corner currently lacks contrast. However, if the shelf surfaces are changed to gray and a bathtub tray is added, it will look better visually. Who knows, maybe a shelf will be added later, but it will have to match the gray furniture.

Personally, I have installed tiles in apartments where the tiling only went halfway up the wall. You could immediately see scratches, dirt, or similar marks on the un-tiled parts of the walls, and to me, it looked unfinished.Just because a wall isn’t tiled doesn’t mean it will automatically get scratches or similar damage... otherwise you would have to tile a living room or bedroom too *laughs*
