Congratulations on moving in!
I like the MDT glass touch panel [emoji6] At what height is it installed?
About the TV: at least it doesn’t look ordinary [emoji4]
What do you do if you need to access it? Get scaffolding? [emoji6] Or have all the connections been routed to the built-in console on the right (where the laptop is) and are therefore accessible?
Enjoy your new home and have a wonderful Christmas season!
THE Christkindlesmarkt? [emoji6]

Thank you!
The view towards the kitchen is definitely a matter of personal taste. However, we are the type of cooks who always clean up while cooking, and we do this in a kitchen without a dishwasher. In the new kitchen, this should definitely work. When we lay down on the couch for the first time last night, we really loved it!
@ruppsn The switch is mounted at 1.40m (4 ft 7 in) from the floor to the center. I definitely wouldn’t go any lower; in hindsight, 1.50m (4 ft 11 in) would have actually been better for wiring.
The TV is on an extendable mount, but I do need a small step ladder to reach it. Since that will hardly ever be necessary, it’s not a problem for me. Almost everything runs through the AV receiver in the media cabinet next to it. The TV is basically only connected to power and HDMI and serves as a display.
We used a small scaffold for the installation. It will be needed again when the TV has to be taken down.
And yes, THE Christmas market
The Christkind, the market.

The Christkind, the market. Hi, thanks for the info [emoji4] By THE, I meant whether the original in Nuremberg was being referred to [emoji6]
About the switch. Do you have (smaller) children or often have guests with small children?
I would also want to install it at 1.40m (4 ft 7 in), but my wife argues that smaller children wouldn’t be able to reach it then... no concerns about that?
Enjoy your mulled wine [emoji4]
Also, no, not in Nuremberg
We don’t have children yet, but I hardly have any concerns about that. Apart from the fact that an empty conduit box is installed at every switch at 1.10m (3 ft 7 in), the lighting in our house is generally controlled by occupancy sensors, except in 2 (children’s) rooms. There, if needed, you can simply open the box at 1.10m (3 ft 7 in) and install a switch.
