Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Recessed ceiling light in the dressing room (lintel of the door visible at the front of the picture)

Is there a recess in the ceiling for the power supply?

We have a concrete ceiling, so I installed a conduit through the ceiling into the attic, where the power supply is located.

So, at least the membrane is now in place, and the roof is nearly three-quarters covered. Let’s see if all the snow is gone tomorrow so they can continue.
Winter construction site: Scaffolding around a shell house, snow falling, next to an orange building.

Multi-story scaffolding around a house, snow on the ground, construction materials visible.

Wow, I never expected my thread to get so many responses and pictures.

I’m curious to see how the light panel will look when it’s finished.

Here you go!

White ceiling with a rectangular light fixture; wall with a small hole.

But the wallpaper hasn’t been painted yet... there’s always something missing.

The lamp is built into the suspended ceiling. If you need to access it, you can do so from the attic by going through the insulation.
