Which paints have you had good experiences with? My painter is planning to visit the specialist retailer tomorrow to explain the problem—this happened before as well, but not as bad—and try to exchange the bucket for new paint. So we have to cover and mask everything again. This is really driving me crazy. It’s incredibly frustrating not to be able to finish.

What surprises me, though, is this: If the roller leaves marks, something must be wrong with the technique. In my opinion, such an effect should be avoidable by the painting method (cross-pattern) or by properly thinning the paint.
“Bad paints” are problematic because they either don’t cover well or because they yellow. I don’t really understand that a paint would cause streaks simply due to poor quality ...
