Hello everyone,

we are currently discussing which color would be best for the exterior window sills. Our windows are quartz gray (RAL 7039). The shutters/blinds are gray aluminum (RAL 9007).

I would try to match the window color as closely as possible (right in the picture) to avoid having too many different colors. My wife prefers the “black” window sill on the left in the picture.
Thanks for sharing your opinions.

The darker it is, the faster it gets dirty. Especially when the rapeseed is blooming, you will need to wipe the windowsill daily.

Well, then it will just have a slight yellow tint for a short time, creating a nice seasonal pattern. I wouldn’t mind.

I find the dark pattern more attractive. 🙂

Neither of them. The light one would be too boring for me (what color is the facade?) I don't like the dark one in terms of color tone and surface texture.

We will have the window color Winchester. The window sills (metal) will then be painted in the same color. You shouldn’t just compare windows with window sills, but the entire house. We have white render, anthracite-colored roof tiles, and windows in Winchester color. We didn’t want to add a fourth color.

I would personally choose the lighter one.
