I have a similar-sized and much more complex railing. It was no problem at all…

I have a similar size and a much more complex railing. It was no problem at all... Simple? Well... 🙂 I know the effort involved with garage doors...

My steel stringers were painted—three thick coats in total. It was very time-consuming, partly because of the drying times.
By comparison, powder coating is a simpler process.
It is also much more durable overall.
