Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

@Trademark
It might be a good idea to start your own thread. Your project is getting lost here.
Do you plan to gut the interior and also change the room layouts?
I love old plots without 90-degree angles.

Since I have received a lot of useful information from this forum (special thanks again to @Escroda), I would like to share a few pictures of our construction project.

Construction started a few weeks ago, and now the ground floor has been built.
The view is from where the future sofa will be.

Outdoor construction site: earth material, stack of wooden beams, left brick wall, field view

Plot with foundation slab at a house construction site; bricks, wooden forms, construction machines, cranes.

Unfinished building made of bricks on construction site with window and door openings, building materials.

Our scaffolding was dismantled this week, the roofing work is complete, and the windows will be delivered next week. I am currently working on the HVAC installation before starting the electrical rough-in on the ground floor and upper floor. Luckily, the electrical work in the basement is already finished.

Scaffolding removed in front of the window, exterior plaster and paint done?!
It almost makes you wonder why it was ever put up in the first place :-)

You could have easily allowed the building materials supplier a little advertising space on the roller shutter box ;-)

You almost have to wonder why it was ever put up in the first place.

Probably separate contracts – in that case, the roofer doesn’t rent the scaffolding for the plasterer.
