You probably mean the stairwell window, yes, that was an idea from my shell builder, I followed that suggestion, we really like it. We had to separate this window because I dislike frosted glass; instead, we installed blinds at the top and bottom for privacy.

I learned one thing: from inside to outside, a different window arrangement would not have worked for us. The ground floor has an open concept; upstairs, each room has two windows except the master bedroom and bathroom (east side), but that doesn’t matter.
