Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

So they transported them assembled during the move. That suggests there was a lot of space available in the moving vehicle.

Of course. Professionals carry everything they can possibly carry. Significantly cheaper than the labor costs for assembly/disassembly.

You’re absolutely right. We did the move ourselves, but only took about 30% with us. The Pax units went to friends, who disassembled the cabinets for transport.

Well, a 7.5-ton and a 12- or 14-ton truck. Fully loaded. And of course, everything was kept together as much as possible because it was manageable.

Since we decluttered so much, this move was nothing compared to the previous one from M to OWL, which involved a large truck plus a trailer—around 36 tons (?)—and it was so full that not even a tissue box could fit in.

The staircase is being installed

Staircase under construction: Black railing rods on the left, beige steps on the right, loose cables hanging.

What is the black part, will it stay?
