Hello,

I urgently need help.
We bought this Pax wardrobe with all the interior fittings, etc. Now I have the problem that when I want to install the drawers all the way at the bottom, the holes are already taken up by the hinges of the flap doors.
Are there any solutions for this, or do I have to leave the holes empty and waste valuable space?

Thank you for your response.

Hello Jan,

after building 5.50 meters (18 feet) of Pax units in the past few weeks, I think you will probably have to sacrifice the space for the hinges. At least, I haven’t come across any other solution.

Have a nice Sunday

Hello Toots,

I have "only" built 3.5 meters (11.5 feet), which was already quite a lot...
Thank you for the response.

If anyone else has an answer, many thanks.

Hi,

I would always secure the doors on all three hinges. I also think it’s not great customer service from Ikea to make it seem like you can design the entire wardrobe on your own. There should always be a final check by a PAX consultant.

Hello,

so, big problem, simple solution (there are only 2 options):

1.)
Install a wire basket, this is the only way to integrate something that can be pulled out.

2.)
Leave enough space so that you can fit these fabric boxes inside.

Hi,

I would always secure the door at all three hinges. I don’t think it’s good service from IKEA to imply that you can design the entire wardrobe by yourself. There should always be a final check by a PAX consultant.

I bought and assembled the wardrobe exactly as shown and I have the same problem... and honestly, I don’t know what to do with my door anymore...
