Hello everyone, I would like to start a discussion here in the forum on the topic: “How do I organize a Pax wardrobe with multiple functions?” I am especially interested in how to adapt the storage concept so that the wardrobe not only works as a classic clothes closet but also includes additional features, such as built-in drawers for accessories, shelves for folders, and possibly a clever solution for shoes and small items. So far, I have only considered the standard options, but I mainly want to know how to make optimal use of the interior space and if there are any tips on which combinations of shelves, hanging rods, drawers, and other interior fittings are recommended for multifunctional use. I am also interested in whether there are accessories that integrate particularly well into the Pax without taking up too much space. Thank you in advance for your experiences and suggestions!

The organization of storage space in the Pax wardrobe depends heavily on your individual needs. For example, if you want to store many different items, I recommend installing multiple adjustable shelves. This way, you can flexibly adapt the shelf height. Specialized shoe racks, which can be attached additionally, are suitable for shoes. The combination of hanging rods and drawers for smaller items like accessories or underwear is very practical. Also, make sure the shelves are not too deep to maintain easier access. Accessories such as pull-out pants hangers or integrated tie holders can provide a lot of extra convenience.

Hey, I find this question really interesting! 😄 I experimented with my Pax using different components and can say: mix and match is the key here. My tips: - Use deep drawers for bulkier items and smaller ones for small parts. - Shelves are great for folders or stackable boxes. - I keep shoes in transparent boxes at the bottom of the wardrobe so they’re out of the way but still visible. - I also find it practical to leave one section open for jackets so they don’t get cramped. It’s really fun to rearrange the modules after use, keeping everything flexible!

Interesting thread, especially since many Pax wardrobe users often only consider the possibilities in a basic way. However, I would like to have specific numbers or details about the room layout in order to provide well-founded recommendations. How much storage space do you actually need for which types of items? Using it as a “multi-purpose wardrobe” requires a precise analysis of the available volumes. Without this information, a general recommendation is hardly effective, as every system makes compromises regarding space and accessibility.

Thanks for pointing that out, it’s an important aspect. Ideally, I want to allocate about 60% of the space for clothing (both hanging and folded), 20% for shoes, 10% for accessories and small items, and 10% for things like folders or document boxes. The clothing will be divided into pants, shirts/blouses, and sweaters. I’m also considering whether to use a special rack or pull-out rods for the pants, since I often change outfits. Accessories should be relatively easy to reach, so I was thinking of drawers or small compartments. The wardrobe should be flexible enough so I can rearrange the modules later without having to empty everything at once.

That sounds like a very well thought-out plan! For managing trousers, extendable clothes rails or special trouser hangers with multiple bars are suitable, allowing you to store several pairs space-efficiently. For accessories, drawer inserts with compartments are very useful; you can neatly organize jewelry, belts, or small items here. Folders fit well on narrow shelves or in cabinets—make sure the depth is right so they don’t sit too far back. You can achieve flexibility best with adjustable shelf supports, allowing you to change the shelf height whenever needed.
