Icon is good. I have it too. For the vanity cabinet, IKEA furniture fits perfectly and costs only a fraction compared to specialty stores.Could you please provide the exact model name of the IKEA furniture?
We also installed the Icon, and a vanity cabinet would be nice for the regular washbasin in the shower bathroom...
Thanks!

We also have two base cabinets and a tall cabinet from the series. I think they offer excellent value for money. The only thing is that you might need to pay attention to the siphon, but we were able to manage that without any major issues.

Buchweizen5 Jul 2019 08:36We have the same one as in the example! It didn’t cost even 200 € (about $215) and looks great. No one coming out of the guest bathroom has said, "Oh, I noticed you only have an Ikea vanity cabinet there."
Two years ago, my parents bought a vanity cabinet from a specialist retailer for more than five times that price and had it installed. In my opinion, there is no visible difference.

The support columns on the ground floor have finally been removed. The difference is dramatic and quite impressive. When the upper floor ceiling is installed next week, our landing staircase will be poured at the same time.
And to add something to the ongoing discussion: we are currently getting a quote from a carpenter for the two upstairs bathrooms. What’s otherwise available is either unattractive to us or so expensive that a carpenter’s work is not more costly. I can’t really imagine IKEA products except for utility rooms.

Godmorgon, example attached:

However, this is not the standard Godmorgon. The top panel is too thick for that. Many people use a cut-to-size IKEA kitchen countertop as the top panel instead.- Previous
