In the pictures, the fireplace looks somewhat out of place and very close to the kitchen. Was there no better location available?

Otherwise, 8.7 kW is quite a lot and could cause issues with the energy-saving regulations for the house. I hope you have installed sufficient thermal storage inside the unit and didn’t cut corners, or else the stove definitely won’t perform well.

A fireplace is a fireplace and not the main heating system. There is enough square footage to use the fireplace occasionally.

The floor plan is known here. Virtually propose a new alternative location without changing the floor plan!

Even though this is about the fireplace, which I find very nice by the way, I’m also looking at the kitchen.
@Zaba12, do you still have tall cabinets? Is the storage space enough for you?

We don’t have wall cabinets. That’s why we also have an additional “highboard.” According to the storage planning, there is plenty of space for everyday items. On the other side of the stairs, there is a pantry and the basement is below.

The floor plan generally offers little room for alteration, but that is not surprising.

The fireplace looks great.
I hope the switches are also gray on the gray wall.

I wanted it that way too, but my wife wanted everything plain white. So unfortunately, no.
