Even if you only buy the materials, it’s already tight... I have paid more just for the flooring materials than that, and we don’t have super high-end expensive tiles or designer flooring...

In the scope of work description, areas like the hallway, utility room, bathrooms, and kitchen are already covered with tiles, possibly with an extra charge for more expensive tiles.
If you subtract all that, there isn’t much left for 110 m² (1184 ft²).
Maybe about half, so if you choose a reasonably good mid-range flooring, you will definitely be within budget.

In the house we currently live in, I waited for a store offer and got a single-lever mixer with a thermostat.

The single lever mixer can’t do anything about fluctuations caused by other users on the water pipes; in fact, I appreciate the single control adjusting instantly, rather than turning two separate taps to get the right mix again. A thermostat, of course, is even more comfortable. And after soaping, pulling the lever back up in a linear way feels easier to me than remembering how many turns of two separate taps to make.

We are building within a budget range that many consider unachievable. However, all costs are now fixed – so not much can go wrong anymore (the screed is currently being installed). Our building supervisor from the Private Homeowners Association is very satisfied with the work so far – apparently, and hopefully, we didn’t cut corners in the wrong places. Of course, without unnecessary extras, but including the features that were important to us personally and worth the cost.
