In the end, with the garden and everything, I will probably end up spending at least 280,000 (USD equivalent).
Even after deducting equity, I will be paying for this dream for at least 20 years.
And when I keep hearing how cheap everything is here, it can actually hurt.
Some people here are so out of touch that it hurts.
I wouldn’t be like that myself, even if I had saved up 100,000 (USD equivalent).

Hmm, it seems I was misunderstood somehow... What I definitely did not want was to make Karsten’s construction or his methods seem cheap.
Also, the comment about systematization was not meant negatively, but rather as a compliment because you (Karsten) carried it out so strictly.
If I offended anyone: sorry!
Poorly compatible [emoji23]
It just annoys me... You briefly turn it on and the temperature changes. Someone rinses, and the water suddenly becomes hot. My wife draws warm water, and it turns cold. Even if I turn it back on after soaping, you have to adjust it again.
In the currently occupied house, I waited for a sale and got a faucet with a thermostat. So nothing fancy either.
