Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

45 basins. The same faucet. Costs around 100 (currency) with the control.

I won’t say anything about the towel radiator. Often, it’s not possible to heat the room properly with just underfloor heating. Many then include the towel radiator. However, a wall heating system would be better. But here it doesn’t really matter since it’s electric.

You’re misunderstanding me, I often can’t tell if the fittings were expensive anyway [emoji23]
But I’m done with lever mixers. For me, they’re a nightmare after bad experiences.

Can’t you handle those lifting devices? Watch this. It’s simple. Blue side is cold, red side is hot, middle is correct. It’s really easy.[emoji57]

[emoji23] well, sometimes you run the tap or use warm water or whatever. I’m done with that. The 50€ (about $55) extra is worth it to me.

Basically, our goal was to avoid a high debt level at 59, so that the house would be paid off within five years. Therefore, with some discipline and a more limited budget than younger people might have, we still wanted to build something aesthetically pleasing. I can say with some pride that my wife succeeded in doing so.

I have noticed that as well, it makes sense, I understand it, and I think it’s a good idea.
