Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

The end of January has passed and everything has been sealed for a week now. Thanks to the (expensive) construction heating, the electrical and plumbing work has already started; I will provide an update on this later.

Wow... you’ve overtaken me by two weeks in just one month. Respect and congratulations on the great window frames. We also have RAL 9007. But why is the garage window in RAL 7016?

Does demolition also count as house construction?

Currently, the building is being stripped down, and starting next week, the work is expected to become more extensive.

Thanks and thank you.
I was also surprised how fast the workers are. That’s why we also have the construction heating to keep things moving smoothly. We’ll see.
The frames are RAL 7039. That was an architect’s recommendation. I’m very satisfied. But the garage belongs to the neighbor, since we’re building in a row house, so it has the (now standard) anthracite 7016.

I was also surprised at how the craftsmen work. That's why we have the construction heating to keep things moving happily. We'll see.

Now I see it too. They are a bit more sand-colored than mine. Ours are gray aluminum, not quartz gray.

So tiles, window sills, and paving are just around the corner...
I'm looking forward to it.

How much does a window sill cost? I like yours. We're also considering which type of wood to choose. We still need to research the pros and cons properly.

It’s knotty oak.

I’m getting 10 pieces, all different in size.

On average, one costs 150 euros gross, ready-made and installed by the carpenter.
