It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

The interior walls on the upper floor and the electrical work are currently completed. Now we are waiting for the windows and the roof. The latter is scheduled to arrive on April 25th. The windows should also arrive around that time.

Electrical work completed without the roof?? That’s crazy – I’ve never seen that before!

Well, for now. No idea how it will proceed from here. But with the general contractor, this seems to be the usual process, and the required step has been completed.

This is generally not done because the cables often end up stretching or getting pulled.
