Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

After May 2015:

Those are exactly the ones you described.

I can take a photo for you in the dark to show how it looks in our home. The kitchen is quite bright, but in the hallway, which is about 15m² (160 ft²), we have three light fixtures. So I think having only one might be a bit insufficient.

Below is the lighting information.

That would be great! I can only find rendered images online.

Here you go, quickly done last night (also a bit messy since we just received our pleated blinds yesterday). The photos are taken in the hallway. The kitchen is to the left next to it in the dark.

Bright interior with wooden floor, door, vacuum cleaner, plant in the corner, window, and radiator

Living room/hallway: white walls, three ceiling lights, door on the left, open window on the right at night.

Thanks! At 2700K, it looks quite bright. I’ll keep considering whether to get them!

I would like to add that while this hedge fits well with the clean design of the house, I would still recommend a mixed hedge with flowering plants—for aesthetic, ecological, and many other reasons.
Would a beech hedge be acceptable?

Hello,

summer is coming to an end, and just in time before the weather changes, the ground work and lawn have been completed. Planting will take place in autumn and spring.

Although I generally prefer older buildings, apart from the close neighbor (which I can’t really judge, and sometimes that’s just how it is), I like your “cube house.” To my eye, it looks balanced and consistently pleasant, with a certain elegance. I appreciate when things are designed in a clear and straightforward way.
