Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

We visited the construction site today and were surprised to find that the doors and windows were already installed, and the roof was covered.

Brick house under scaffolding, scaffolding surrounds the house at a construction site.

I was a bit concerned about the condition of the window frames. Is it normal for them to look scratched or dirty like this? Our neighbors have protective film applied to theirs, but ours don’t have any film and all the frames look like this, with black marks and so on :/

White window frame on the ground, with a small gap, red brick floor underneath

White PVC door with glass panel, on red bricks, construction work visible.

If there is no foil covering it and it cannot be wiped off, I would file a complaint.

It looks like scratches in the plastic, which should not be the case!

How long have you not been on your construction site?

I will never understand why the window installer, who usually also supplies the windows, does not notice this or deliberately overlooks it! It must be clear to them that everyone will complain and that they will have to remove the windows again.

Many window installers nowadays see themselves primarily as fitters and foam applicators. But why did you order windows with shaved edges for the beautiful segmental arch window openings?
