Hello, I would like to make the bathroom windows frosted. There are adhesive films or spray-on options available. Has anyone had any experience with these and can give me some advice?

Best regards

Film. It’s best to order it pre-cut directly from a store.
Clean the window, spray on the solution, apply the film, and smooth it out...
This is especially easy with standard or smaller windows. It’s best to have a second person to help.

This is really easy, especially for standard or smaller windows. Having a second person to help is best.

The windows to be covered are triangular— is it just as easy in that case?

Yes, it’s quite simple. With large panes, the handling is usually the main challenge until the film is applied to the glass.

Yes. There are rulers and set squares for measuring. Cutting is done with a utility knife. I recommend leaving a 1 cm (0.4 inch) margin from the edges when gluing everything – this creates a very refined look.

I have now applied film to several windows. When cutting, there are always problems, such as the edges not aligning properly. I would recommend always removing the trim if possible. Use a soft plastic wedge and carefully push it away from the middle of the frame.

Of course, you need four hands to remove it. But the result looks neat.
