He must realize that everyone will claim this and that the windows will have to be removed again. I believe some companies try to avoid this by offering a credit instead.
For friends, the wrong tiles were installed on their roof.
Instead of a replacement, they were simply given a credit of 4,000€ (about 4,000 euros). Re-roofing would have been too complicated.

They must know that everyone will complain and the windows will have to be taken out again. We’ll see, I’m not sure yet if it will come off. Most of the dark spots could be wiped away with a finger, but the black streak in the first picture is not that easy.

We didn’t know they come in other versions. I haven’t seen those anywhere in show homes either; are they probably more expensive?

Well, you see, I didn’t know that there are people who pay extra for something they don’t see or benefit from from the inside. The additional cost wouldn’t have been significant, but at least it would have been worth it then.
