Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

We have already had quite an extensive discussion about canopies. Yours is hardly visible (in the photo), but I honestly think the part of the garden I can see looks really nice.

We have two cars. However, I want guests to be able to come and easily park in the yard.

The area in front of the house looks bigger than it actually is because of the photo framing.

How satisfied are you with your canopy? Did everything work out as you had planned?

Apart from some logistical issues, it’s great. The electrician is coming next week, and the sliding element will be installed in 6 weeks. The LEDs are the highlight. Just tested them. My husband reset the stones around it today. It fits in really well, doesn’t it?
Thanks for the tip.

Today we finally installed the porch roof. We also received two boxwood plants as a gift! It looks completely different now!

The only thing missing is young Pamela Anderson in the retouch.
What part of this is real?

Glad to hear you’re reasonably satisfied. What logistical problems are you referring to? That the sliding elements arrive later? I think that’s normal with them since they are measured only after the canopy is installed. This way, they can account for any roof slope adjustments during installation, etc.

At least the house is real and was taken with an iPhone 11 camera.
As for Pamela, I’m not sure! I believe there were no iPhones at her time!

That’s actually the point — to blend in with the garden.

They only arrived at 2:15 PM (14:15). My husband was here trying to reach someone but couldn’t get through. Nobody knew anything at lunchtime when he managed to contact someone at the pool facility. They were stuck in traffic, which is frustrating but understandable… however, at that time it did leave a bad impression. Everyone spoke Polish, and there were three large holes in our expensive new HPL cladding… it was hard to look at. But well… that’s in the past now, it had to happen, and: it looks great. It couldn’t be any smaller!
Once the side sliding panel arrives, we will benefit from the 16% VAT (value-added tax).
