@Tina mit K ... later floor installation will be problematic if the dishwasher has an issue, as it cannot simply be pulled out. You still have the chance to change this and lay the flooring everywhere.

The dishwasher is not placed directly on the floor, which is not a problem. It is actually quite common to finish the floor later on.

@matte1987 I’ll have to measure it later. I don’t have the dimensions memorized. No, that’s not a sliding door on the left, it’s a regular patio door.

@kbt09 If the dishwasher ever has an issue that requires it to be pulled out, we just unclip two rows of vinyl flooring and that’s it. The entire kitchen is now screwed to the wall and to itself so firmly that you could line dance on the countertop without anything wobbling. Nothing will be changed anymore.

@kbt09 Or we would simply screw the legs back onto the dishwasher, allowing it to be pulled forward.

Matte, I see you have baseboard lighting. Very nice, I had also considered that – but was strongly advised against it because supposedly you would always see every speck of dust. Apart from the fact that we now have a robot vacuum anyway: should I be upset that I didn’t do it after all, since it’s apparently not so bad with the "dust bunny detector"?
