My goodness, what an ordeal. Due to a planning error with the ventilation system, the concrete pour for the staircase landing and the upper floor ceiling—and consequently the roof frame—were delayed by two weeks. At least the first windows could then be installed almost simultaneously.

Türrahmen mit Glasfront auf Baustelle; außen Baugerüst und Anhänger sichtbar.

Bau eines Hauses mit Gerüsten, dunklen Ziegelwänden und offenem Dachstuhl.

Something still doesn’t seem right. What kind of floor structure is being installed on the ground floor? Looking at the window, it can only be about 6-7cm (2.4-2.8 inches) at most, but then the staircase—the first step is already at a normal height.

None at all. This is a thermal floor slab, also known as a Swedish slab. Everything fits perfectly.

So, the kitchen is installed, and the dining table is already in place. The lamp above is only temporarily hung. The guest bathroom washbasin is a DIY project. Hopefully, the electrical connections, doors, and internet will be installed soon.
