It's nice to hear that some of you like it after all. The construction style and interior design do not exactly match the typical ideal image of most home builders.
Except for the window frames, all built-in furniture, the staircase, and the wooden floors are walnut. I am a fan of old Bauhaus designs, so for some details we drew inspiration from the Villa Tugendhat, among others (light floors, dark wood, large glass elements especially in the living area and foyer, strong connection to the outdoors, floor-to-ceiling doors). Only the colorful accessories are still missing at the moment.
The rooftop terrace will still have a wooden floor structure added, so the parapet is not sufficient as a fall protection. This is intentional, to deliberately block the neighboring buildings while preserving the expansive view. A railing made of flat steel will probably be installed later.
Best regards

Walnut is quite a bold choice and actually belongs more to a different era. However, the overall concept works. You clearly put some thought into it. It has a very cozy aspect. There are definitely some appealing sightlines in this house, very stylish, spacious, and “tidy.”

I'll try to contribute a bit to this topic To me, it somehow has a touch of Rietveld,

It is way too plain, clean, tidy, and not cozy at all. Certainly very nice for fans of this style.

This is an absolute dream home, extremely stylish! I am convinced that anyone expressing a different opinion is just showing pure envy. Certainly not from this one:
