Holzhäuschen19 Oct 2023 15:04We thought our carpenter would finally install the handrail on our staircase, so we went ahead and wallpapered there (the painters have been ghosting us, so we decided to finish the wallpapering ourselves). The carpenter forgot the handrail, but the staircase looks nice now. The only thing missing is the light fixture.

Not to forget, the view from the staircase.
And he finally brought my board for my window seat.
The view is beautiful here as well:
We have settled in very well. There is still quite a bit to do, but we are confident we will finish the interior this year 🙂.
We have finally chosen and ordered the doors (that will be a new feeling), we can wallpaper too, and we are now doing the rest ourselves (we were afraid of the patterned wallpaper, but it’s going surprisingly well). One of the bedrooms is still a construction zone; we still need to finish filling, sanding, priming, wallpapering, and painting 😀… and installing the flooring… But then it will be almost done.
At times I regretted it a little bit because it was just too much. But now I’m happy and grateful that we can live here 🙂
