Our toaster is ready to use in the pantry, the coffee machine can stay outside for now, and will eventually be replaced by a stylish fully automatic coffee maker, which hopefully will be attractive enough to stay outside. At some point, the trend will lean toward a kind of “secondary kitchen” or kitchenette plus pantry. At least in new builds, pantries should be planned more generously to accommodate the “unwanted” appliances that have been removed from the main kitchen (toaster, kettle, coffee machine, etc.).
During the week, we have breakfast in the kitchen at the counter and appreciate having the toaster there. Otherwise, an efficiency evaluation of the traffic flows is necessary. For this reason, our microwave is placed in the pantry (and we have another one in the garage). The garage also houses a second cooktop with an oven 🙂 🙂

Having a lot of stuff on the countertop means lots of things I always have to put away when I clean and that collect dust. So I try to reduce that. A good step toward increasing efficiency!

The building is finally weather-tight. Window installation is finished except for minor details. Choosing the 520 series from Internorm instead of the 410 series was definitely the right decision. Thanks to the aluminum cladding promotion, it was only slightly more expensive.

We really like the glass sash with the sealing gasket and the flush surface design.

What is the roof construction like? Do you have external roof insulation? How large are your roof overhangs? Thanks in advance 🙂

sagt die, die eine Kaffeemaschine von Aldi rumstehen hat :pYes, for now... it surprisingly survived the construction. Now it’s just a placeholder until my husband knows what he wants – and that could take a while!- Previous
