Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

I have always been too slow for that, along with my computers. ;-)

You probably have to take it with a sense of humor; anything else would drive you crazy when you look at the mess^^ I postponed this decision for a long time, probably because you could spend the money on "more important" things, but the current appearance does make me a bit sad;-)

Nowadays, lighting options are very versatile, thanks to LEDs! I especially find indirect lighting effects appealing. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to implement any of them yet.

That’s true 🙂. For example, we have an LED strip above the bathtub. My daughter (2 years old) loves it and always asks for green :p

The silicone sealants are still missing here. The bathroom wasn’t completely finished yet.

I treated myself by installing four "high-end" LED downlights in the ground floor bathroom, featuring color and dimmer control via remote, as well as additional functions like fade and strobe effects.

Our bathtub was removed during the renovation and reorganization of the bathroom. So far, we haven't missed it...
