I admit it’s not really my style. I think that has more to do with the tiles than the idea itself. I also have to admit that at first, I found the idea quite strange. Now that I see it, I have to say the idea isn’t as bad as I initially thought. As I mentioned, the tiles aren’t to my taste—I don’t like the metallic look, especially not with that blue/green tint.

Why didn’t you continue the tiles under the stairs? I think I would have liked that better.

Originally, I also wanted to have a moss wall climbing up there. However, my wife was against it.
We did not tile under the stairs because we wanted to clearly separate the entrance area.

We had a quote and were close to finalizing.
However, considering that children especially tend to pull it off abruptly when climbing, and you yourself would probably catch on it often when carrying something upstairs, for example, we decided against it.
For now, at the end of June, a moss picture will be installed for testing.

Looks great. We also initially considered installing tiles in the stair area, but then thought it might be "too much" for us. Seeing your pictures, I need to reconsider that.
