Yesterday, I took some photos from inside the balcony to illustrate why it makes more sense than having a privacy screen directly on the window or a window with a railing about 1m (3 feet) high. This way, the space feels much more open and generous.
At some point, lounge furniture or two bean bags will go there for a relaxed sundowner.
