EDIT: Why didn’t you install the stove flush with the countertop? For fire safety reasons, this is not allowed!

Embedding it would also have been possible.
But I thought the countertop would be affected in the long term.
I also like the aluminum frame.
Zaba, regarding the vent grille: mine was also supposed to be installed under the stove. I didn’t want that because I stand right in front of it while cooking, and I find the draft really uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the installers messed up the angle fittings; apparently, the part they brought only allowed adjustment to the right, not to the left. I do regret agreeing to that because in its current position, there is still a slight draft at my feet when I’m standing at my cutting area. It can’t be helped now, and everyone probably feels differently about this—I don’t wear slippers and am a bit more sensitive.
That said, I still believe the decision not to orient the vent outlet towards the dining table was the much better choice.

The kitchen itself is poorly designed (I wasn’t referring to the ventilation of the cooktop).
- Few practical pull-outs (there would be too little storage for me)
- Odd mix of doors, drawers, and handles (the overall look is quite chaotic)
- Main work surface partly tucked into a corner
- Le Mans cabinet (an expensive cabinet that offers comparatively little storage, is difficult to clean, and if something falls to the back, you have to crawl in to retrieve it)
- Pull-out pantry cabinet (similar to the Le Mans)
But there are also positive aspects:
- Countertop running along the window reveal
- "Ulla cabinet" (forum term for the tall cabinet on the far left)
- Dishwasher thoughtfully placed out of the way, not in the middle of the kitchen
