Here are some recent pictures from last Sunday of our little house, which we have been living in since early August.
In Northern Germany, you mostly find houses with brick cladding and gable roofs.

We will add the carport, terrace, and garden next year, as there was unfortunately no more time for that this year.

Our cozy home. We moved in at the end of August; landscaping, carport, and other outdoor structures will be completed next year.

Here is a photo of our house (~190 sq meters (2,045 sq ft) of living space, built solidly with bricks):
(The jointing sand is unfortunately still on the paving)

Here is a photo without the jointing sand (at that time, the base and splash protection were not yet finished):

In 2016, we will start work on the terrace, garden, and carport.

Might be interesting for some to know:
Total expenses so far: approximately €510,000 (including €100,000 for the plot)
No basement, with garage and adjacent basement replacement room

Nice house!

I am already looking forward to summer 2016. My children gave me a hammock like the one in the picture this year; it’s wonderful for relaxing in.
