ᐅ Terrace with corner-laid slabs (L-shape). Implementation of slope

Hello,

My terrace will have an L-shape, meaning it wraps around the corner of the house and therefore needs a slope away from the house on both sides.

But how do I create the slope away from the house on both sides of an L-shaped terrace?

I would appreciate any tips.

Thanks, regards Mat

Slope on both sides from the house wall towards the garden. There is then an "edge" where both sides meet.
Alternatively, a wooden deck? That doesn’t require any slope.

But the edge also slopes away from the house.
If the slope leads evenly away from the house, then the edge should as well. I don’t want to create a tripping hazard. And you can pave it all “in one piece.”
I’m not a professional and so far I haven’t done paving, only laid wooden decking tiles, but I just don’t understand this edge that is supposed to form with paving.

Or maybe we’re talking past each other.

Edge is not exactly the right word either. So...

Example in simple terms:
- Right side of the house with terrace = slope from the wall down to the garden towards the right
- Upper side of the house with terrace = slope from the wall upwards

As long as both sides do not meet, everything is fine – where they meet, the upper part wants its slope upwards, and the right part wants its slope to the right. Of course, this can be paved (there is no real edge), but it needs to be properly planned.

Then I could have saved myself the effort of my great description.

Hello,

And I don’t really understand how to plan that??

The only idea I have is to lay the slabs in the corner from the terrace to the corner of the house diagonally and then cut them diagonally in the middle, but I’m not sure if that would look good...?

I would be very grateful for a sketch or something to better understand.
