Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Work on the construction site continues tirelessly.

Despite modest weather conditions, the windows were installed yesterday, and the external insulation was started simultaneously.

May I quickly ask what wall construction this is? 24cm (10 inches) brick plus 12cm (5 inches) external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS)? Sorry if I missed this information somewhere else!

Note that the adhesive for the External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) requires a component temperature of at least 5°C (41°F), even at night. That is why our expert recommended starting the insulation work earlier.

The scaffolding has finally been removed at our place as well. Let's see how much brighter the joint will look now; up close, it still appears quite patchy.

Thanks for the tip about the temperature. They will continue on Friday, and it's expected to be warmer then.

Phew, I can hardly look at it—it really hurts the eyes.

I specifically chose a joint color that matches the cladding.
