Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Eldea, that is our door. We chose clear glass for the upper pane and the lower one as well, to let in more light and so the cat can look outside. You have to think about Tiger, too.
I tell you, this is a beautiful door, and it gets more beautiful every day—you’ll see. Karsten

We didn’t think about the cats [emoji85]
But they can look out the window from the guest/study room.
The space is actually perfect for them now [emoji6]

I like the door too, and it will match the interior doors well. Plus, it barely increased the cost [emoji16]

We originally wanted door panels with inserts, but that was ridiculously expensive and didn’t look much different.

Eldea, honestly, this is just a standard door that every second person here has. But I don’t really mind, I like it quite a bit, it closes properly and is airtight. It lets light in, and if everyone has it, it can’t be entirely wrong.

We made it!

It's almost like a double victory: first, a beautiful house, and second, I have to admit that I didn’t expect this after seeing the initial drawings.

The glass cost a bit more, but it was nothing significant. Using an insert panel would have been expensive, but we didn’t think it was worth it. That would have added over 1,000 € extra [emoji15]

This is how our construction site looked yesterday. Unfortunately, there is a delay because the structural builder received the Poroton blocks too late. The upper floor should have almost been completed by now.
