I have never seen so many (power) outlets on one wall, respect! 😀
I usually prefer using power strips; they only cost about 5 euros, have an on-off switch, and are more flexible. However, we realized that we would like to have single outlets in several places. Well, that’s how it is, there’s always a solution B 🙂The outlets are equipped with surge protection.ypg schrieb:
Thanks for the info. Will you post a picture once it's finished?!
At the moment, I think the pieces make the room look quite small. I’d be happy to do that. Hopefully, we’ll be done by Friday.
In person, I really like it. I would have liked to adjust the ones in the couch area a bit more, but couldn’t because some LAN and power cables were in the way.

Although this is an older post, I need to bring it back to attention briefly. The statement is not meant generally, but specifically refers to your situation, right? I thought a hip roof is a hip roof and a gable roof is a gable roof. If the latter is specified in the building permit / planning permission, is the former not allowed? In our building regulations, a gable roof was specified. After speaking with the responsible authority, I was told that a hip roof is considered a distinct type of gable roof and is therefore also permitted.

Interesting... I could understand a clipped gable roof as a variation of a gable roof, but a hip roof surprises me as well. So, a shed roof would also be a variation, and in the end, they are only excluding flat roofs, right?!

So a shed roof is just a variation, and in the end they only exclude flat roofs, right?! Our flat roof has tapered insulation. The highest point is in the middle of the roof, and then it slopes 2% towards the sides. In that sense, it could very well be considered a very shallow pitched roof ... 😉

Alessandro18 Jan 2021 12:48I didn’t follow up with the responsible person to find out whether this was an official ruling or just their own interpretation. 😉
The fact is, I’m the only one in town with a hip roof, so I have set a precedent :p
