Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Why is the time already determined after the abolition? Most people voted to keep daylight saving time...

And that's exactly what we're ruining by abolishing daylight saving time. Soon, in summer, we will see the sunset at 8 p.m.

Well, even if we decide to stick to standard time, the shift would be at most one hour, right? Or am I misunderstanding something?
I didn't even know that daylight saving time was supposed to be abolished.

If we choose winter time all year round, it would already be light at 3 a.m. in June, and we would be sitting in the dark around 8-9 p.m., unlike now, when it can sometimes stay light until just before 10 p.m.

Of course, one could simply shift their daily routine, but general everyday social life is not designed for that.

Then I’d like to share something about my great garden lights. It’s too cold for me to be outside in winter, and in summer I have to go to bed before they turn on. Although I don’t have much in the garden anyway – keyword light pollution.

So, I would prefer the winter time that suits our latitude.

I prefer the natural light source after all... Continuous winter time would be absolutely unbearable for us. I would even accept an extra hour beyond daylight saving time. I don’t need any light early in the morning.

Moscow time would be good...
