Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Regarding the problematic wall again: it concerns a setup for the kitchen, which will only be fully installed in the coming years. And I myself will definitely not be drilling into it.

Not only you, but you should urgently provide your photo documentation to the professional when the time comes. No one expects such a chaotic arrangement of pipes and cables! A drilled-through cable is a drilled-through cable (and the water pipe is also laid in a rather unusual way), and the person who drills into it won’t easily fix it again, so you cannot simply ignore it.

That’s a brilliant idea. Finally, a use for that dust-covered device! Thanks for the tip.

Which one do you have? The standard model from Kärcher or one from a discount store? I once tried a cheap one from a discount store and was more disappointed than satisfied.

To remove condensation from the window during screed drying, almost any model will do.

@ludwig88sta For removing condensate, one from a discount store is probably enough, as @guckuck2 suggests. Mine isn’t improving with the cement dust in the condensate at the moment. There’s an enormous amount of water, and right now I have to empty the collection container after every single window.

For general window cleaning, I also use the yellow one, but I have no experience with other brands. I just know that since I got these things, cleaning the windows has actually been fun ops:

@Mellina nice house, how many square meters do you have, or did I miss that?

@Solveigh missed that @Mellina has 330m² (3,558 sq ft)
