Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Yes, I think so too. They were cast directly into the concrete...

Here is my second void space from the basement level:

Unfinished interior construction site with concrete ceiling, scaffolding, and cables.

What kind of irregular channeling is this? I'm not really an expert in these matters, but aren't channels for electrical wiring usually made at a 90° angle? No one will be able to trace the path if something breaks at some point.

Concrete can be milled, but it is more expensive and labor-intensive.
Usually, meticulous electrical planning is required, and the conduits and boxes are embedded with grounding during the pour.
In the utility rooms, surface-mounted installations are used.

No one can find the wiring anymore if something breaks down.
Or if you want to drill holes for a lamp or a cabinet. It really looks messy!

This is a temporary kitchen (kitchenette)... We originally planned to finish it, but decided against it during the construction process and will do it within the next 5 years or if we ever split the house. The rest of the pipes and cables are all installed in the standard way (I hope oops: ).
