Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

There’s progress. Yesterday, preparations for the concrete slab were made, and it was poured today.

After a long and difficult journey, things are finally moving forward for us and the excavator is rolling. I’d like to share this with you, even though we hadn’t posted the new plans here. If anyone still remembers our old thread: we are now in a legal dispute with the architectural firm. Nonetheless, we’re happy to have a fresh start and not be stuck with a ruin.

The plot is about 1200 m² (12,917 ft²) in size and, apart from the foundation pit and the setback area to the street, it is almost entirely covered with excavated soil. It’s incredible how much loosened earth there is. I hope we can use a significant portion of it for backfilling and on the property, otherwise it will get expensive.

The windows are being installed precisely. We are already very impressed with the quality of the workmanship.

I would prohibit a loud warning sign on the frame.
