Otherwise, we will use strip footings and then build up the rest with fill. However, there doesn’t need to be high-quality material between the footings since the slab won’t be load-bearing. So we can just put the excavated clay back there.
The remaining space will then be backfilled with proper material.

To me, it also looks like anthracite Interesting. I would have described it as gray-green... definitely not blue.
