I know why I don’t share pictures of my kitchen... it would get criticized and I’d end up feeling bad afterwards... Everyone builds their home the way they want it... I’m lucky that in my case, the outlet for the cooktop points towards the door.

When building a house, you have much more freedom (you just need to start planning the kitchen early enough, which many do not do).

Yes, but there is a fixed budget and also site-related restrictions, unless you plan the house around the kitchen... and last but not least, a partner who may see some things differently than you do... so there are inevitably some compromises involved...

sorry, but this reminds me of another user who used to write in a way that made you think they must have a nice house because they constantly criticized other designs, but never offered any alternatives.

which is totally fine, but when someone talks like that, you think differently.

I would stand by that, but I don’t find it empathetic when someone posts their finished kitchen here and comments come questioning the kitchen......either give a "like" or post the design beforehand and ask for opinions.

I understand that the profession originated in Austria and is somewhat similar to an interior designer without a formal degree?!

In the end, the profession doesn’t really matter—as long as you enjoy it and earn well. And no, I have completed my studies and am now employed.

Regarding the structural shell offers: it’s going well, one candidate is moving into the final selection.
