Hello everyone,

Does anyone have experience with Nolte furniture? Specifically, the Horizont 8000 wardrobe system?

We have received a quote for our dressing room/wardrobe space and are actually close to accepting the offer.

What we especially like compared to Ikea Pax and similar options is that the wardrobes would be 2.42m (7 ft 11 in) tall, and the remaining space up to the ceiling would be covered with a panel, as well as a small gap between the end of the wardrobe wall and the room wall. So it would be like a built-in wardrobe.

In terms of price, it’s a huge (positive) difference compared to a carpenter’s offer. But that’s probably not because the carpenter uses solid wood or something similar. :/

Regarding kitchens, Nolte represents solid mid-range quality, so I believe the wardrobes are likely similar. That would be perfectly fine for us; I just don’t want to buy something flimsy.

Best regards

We will also face the same problem next year.

With Nolte, you are purchasing a moderately upscale, middle-of-the-road product at a slightly elevated middle-of-the-road price, and you shouldn’t have any issues with normal use. Since delivery and installation are included in the price, there’s little room for complaints. A Pax system would be noticeably cheaper, but that’s do-it-yourself. Karsten

A Pax system doesn’t fit very well here. There is no suitable dresser, no wardrobes in the required widths, and I also have to put together the cladding myself, just like the furniture.

Apart from the term “wardrobe,” I can’t see many other similarities...

You already mentioned that P. doesn’t fit very well.

We have a Nolte wardrobe and are very satisfied with it (including three moves, meaning disassembly and reassembly). However, about four to five years after the purchase, the veneer (maple) was no longer available, so adding to it (which we wanted to do at the time) was no longer possible.

Ok, thanks!

So this confirms my assumption that I’m not doing anything wrong with the furniture.
We have another appointment tomorrow evening to go over a few open points. We’ll place the order then, and it will be installed before Christmas.
