Hello,

It would be really great if everyone here could just post one or a few pictures showing the current state of their house.

I'll start right away.

For renovations, it’s best to provide a comparison of before and after the remodeling.

Before March 2014:

After May 2015:

Here is a brief update from me.

Yesterday, the masonry work began. Since there aren’t many interior walls and we have large window areas, the ground floor is expected to be completed by the end of the week. Both photos show the garden side of the house.

So, the living room is really amazing and the kitchen is the best spot in the house, but the rest of the ground floor is quite tiny.

Has it remained exactly as shown at https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/Grundriss-für-11m-x-8-25m-ok.24781/?

Some rooms are a bit tight, okay. I would have combined the shower and storage room on the ground floor. But you have a basement, so there’s plenty of space there. It always seems misleading at first.

What exactly do you find too small? You can still remove walls at this stage.
